About me

Wike Schippers is Dutch visual artist and music composer based in Cork. Her main mediums are watercolours and lino printing on textiles. Her art process is meditative, inspired by the natural world, children's book illustrations and meditative doodling. The main characteristics of her works include flowing lines and recognisable shapes bleeding into abstraction. She's a composer and songwriter by trade but has been selling paintings, cards and other art objects for years. In recent years she's taken to organising elaborate art markets where she sells ever increasing amounts of art, objects and printed garments.
